Valencia Won Our Hearts

Valencia has won our hearts and we are leaving her with a piece of our souls behind. We have had an amazing time here and feel like we were at home.

The food, the history, the new and historical architecture, the sea, and the culture have all brought much joy on this leg of our journey. I know I will never forget our time here and I did get a bit teary as we said our goodbyes to this wonderful place.

The statue of Mary above had a fun story. It is said if you are pregnant and pray at the statue and walk around the church nine times that you will have a healthy baby. We saw several pregnant women walking around the outer part of the pews and pausing at the statue. They also say that the Holy Grail (pictured above) is here in Valencia.
